Energy Price Sheet

Tx-Rails — Energy Pricing Sheet

The auditable underlay for Energy — generators, network operators, retailers, market operators, regulators, financiers, insurers. Cryptographic continuous audit + guarantee-of-origin + multi-jurisdiction settlement evidence, sitting underneath your existing SCADA, EMS, ADMS, billing, market-clearing, settlement, GHG-inventory, and certificate-registry systems. We don’t replace any of them — we bind to them via a published integration mode and produce tamper-evident, jurisdiction-independent records of everything they emit. See energy.md for the 26 federations covering the electricity + gas value chains + governance.

What you get

Three integrated capabilities, one platform:

  1. Continuous cryptographic audit infrastructure
Every dispatch instruction, every meter read, every market settlement, every emissions disclosure committed to a Byzantine-fault-tolerant ledger and Merkle-anchored to the Hedera public DLT. Continuous evidence stream replaces the periodic-disclosure-and-trust model that struggles under guarantee-of-origin fraud, Scope-2 misclaim, market-power-abuse investigations, and reliability-incident root-cause attribution.
Aligned with: AEMO settlement rules; AER compliance framework; ASIC climate-disclosure standards; ISSB IFRS S2; GHG Protocol Scope-2 market-based methodology; EU REMIT market-integrity rules; IEC 62056 / DLMS metering standards; NEM12 settlement formats; UK Ofgem RIIO performance frameworks; FERC Order 2222 DER aggregation; CFE / ESO / IESO equivalents.
  2. Multi-counterparty settlement with smart-contract-equivalents
Bilateral PPA settlement, automated capacity-market activation, real-time DER aggregation under VPP, guarantee-of-origin issuance + retirement, ESG/Scope-3 emissions evidence by default. Unlimited data capacity (database-backed, not on-chain). Your existing billing / market-clearing / settlement systems feed events via change-data-capture or atomic dual-write; the underlay produces verifiable settlement and provenance without anyone changing their existing operational workflow.
  3. Regulator, market-operator & financier-grade evidence pipeline
Live data access for the relevant regulator (AER, AEMO, ESO, FERC, Ofgem, BNetzA, ARENA grant authorities); financier-acceptable evidence for green-bond and sustainability-linked-loan compliance; insurer-grade evidence for offshore-wind, transmission-asset, and storage-system underwriting.

What we sell — and what we don’t

What we don’t sell at any price: full transaction-front-end replacement. We don’t build your billing system, your customer portal, your trader terminal, your control-room HMI, your DERMS platform. Your operational screens stay put. If you need a new screen, your engineering team builds it against our published SDK with our reference connectors.

What we do sell falls into two groups:

A. Operator utilities (bundled — Items 2 + 4 in the pricing table)

  • Evidence-retrieval portal — your compliance team pulls cryptographic proofs in response to regulator, market-operator, financier, or auditor questions. Generates evidence packs in formats acceptable to AEMO settlement-rules audits, AER compliance reviews, ASIC / ISSB climate-disclosure assurance, and green-finance verification bodies.
  • Compliance-officer dashboard — live view of REMIT compliance, NEM-rule compliance, Scope-2 emissions intensity, certificate-of-origin retirement status, reliability metric (SAIDI/SAIFI/CAIDI) attestation, capacity-market obligation status.
  • Trust-management UI — operator-side controls for your enterprise PKI: certificate issuance for plant operators / traders / settlement-system actors, revocation, counterparty onboarding (PPA counterparties, balancing-market participants), kill-switch.

B. Counterparty / market-participant attestation UI (optional — Item 5 in the pricing table)

Thin signature surface for external counterparties — PPA counterparties, capacity-market participants, DER aggregators, certificate buyers/sellers, large customers signing-off on Scope-2 disclosures, network customers signing-off on connection-agreement compliance. This is explicitly in scope for us to develop, distinct from the “no trader-terminal replacement” line above.

What it does:
– DID / certificate-based authentication
– Per-tenant queue of pending attestations (PPA dispatch confirmations, capacity-market activation acknowledgements, GO retirement signoffs, DER curtailment confirmations, network-connection compliance signoffs)
– Sign + submit with cryptographic proof landing in the BFT mesh
– Multi-tenant via entnum — each counterparty sees only their own queue

What it explicitly is NOT:
– A billing or settlement-system replacement
– A trader workstation
– A network management or DERMS platform

When you’d buy this: your existing counterparty interactions happen via PDF email + spreadsheet reconciliation, or your market-participant portal can’t carry M-of-N cryptographic co-signature.

Pilot terms — non-binding, parallel-run, zero operational risk

  • 3 months running Tx-Rails alongside your existing systems. No production switchover.
  • Mode A (hash-only) integration with one chosen federation (typically tx-rails-energy-metering for retailers, tx-rails-energy-generation for generators, or tx-rails-energy-market-ops for traders) for the pilot.
  • Walk-away clause: if at month 3 the metrics don’t meet agreed targets, the engagement ends.
  • Regulator pre-validation: before signing, we’ll meet with AER, AEMO, or relevant climate-disclosure assurance provider to confirm evidence-pack acceptability.
  • Data ownership: cryptographic exports are open-format, re-readable indefinitely.

Why now

  • ISSB IFRS S2 climate disclosures mandatory in most jurisdictions by 2026–27 — auditor assurance requires evidence beyond spreadsheet aggregation.
  • EU REMIT enforcement — market-manipulation investigations require auditable trade records; ACER fines escalating.
  • AEMO settlement-rule tightening — settlement-pack evidence requirements increased post-2022 NEM suspension review.
  • Guarantee-of-origin fraud cases mounting — independently verifiable retirement evidence becoming a procurement requirement for corporate Scope-2 buyers.
  • Capacity-market & VPP scale-up — multi-party settlement automation needs trust-substrate that no single market participant controls.
  • Insurance market hardening — offshore-wind, transmission-asset, BESS underwriting increasingly demanding telemetry-backed evidence.
