General Manufacturing Price Sheet

Tx-Rails — General Manufacturing Pricing Sheet

The auditable underlay for General Manufacturing — primary producers, tier-1/2/3 suppliers, OEMs, contract manufacturers, EaaS (equipment-as-a-service) providers, recall-reserve insurers, regulators, customer auditors. Cryptographic continuous audit + plant-floor provenance + multi-tier supplier-network co-attestation, sitting underneath your existing PLC / SCADA / MES / historian / batch-record / LIMS / ERP / TQM / supplier-portal systems. We don’t replace any of them — we bind to them via a published integration mode and produce tamper-evident, jurisdiction-independent records of everything they emit. See iiot-manufacturing.md and smart-contracts-manufacturing.md for the full underlay positioning.

Why a separate sheet from aviation? Aviation has its own pricing sheet (aviation-pricing-sheet.md) because it sits at the highest tier of regulatory burden (Part-145 / Annex-13 / cyber-supply-chain rules + decades-of-retention obligations). General manufacturing — food + beverage, automotive (non-aerospace), industrial machinery, chemicals, consumer products, electronics — has a different risk profile, different regulators, and a smaller absolute regulatory floor. Pricing reflects that.

What you get

Three integrated capabilities, one platform:

  1. Continuous cryptographic audit infrastructure
Every batch record, every quality deviation, every calibration event, every Scope-3 emissions data point, every supplier-of-record signoff committed to a Byzantine-fault-tolerant ledger and Merkle-anchored to the Hedera public DLT. Continuous evidence stream answers the question “prove this happened, prove it wasn’t tampered with, prove the timeline is real” — the foundational claim under every regulatory audit, customer audit, and recall investigation.
Aligned with: ISO 9001 (process); ISO 14001 (environmental); ISO 22000 (food safety); ISO 45001 (OH&S); IEC 61511 (functional safety); ISO 17025 (calibration traceability); GS1 / GHS labeling; REACH / RoHS / WEEE; OEKO-TEX (textiles); GFSI / SQF / BRC / IFS (food); RBA (electronics responsible-business); EU CSRD + ESRS sustainability reporting; FDA 21 CFR Part 11 (regulated industries); customer-audit standards (IATF 16949 automotive; AS9100 aerospace — see aviation sheet).
  2. Multi-tier supplier-network attestation with smart-contract-equivalents
Self-executing supplier-payment milestones (PO matched to delivery + quality + emissions evidence), Equipment-as-a-Service (EaaS) runtime billing co-signed by both parties, multi-party recall execution (OEM + tier-1 + tier-2 + insurer + regulator), Scope-3 emissions attestation flowing up the supply chain. Unlimited data capacity (database-backed, not on-chain). Your existing MES / ERP / supplier-portal feeds events via change-data-capture or atomic dual-write.
  3. Regulator, customer-auditor & insurer-grade evidence pipeline
Live data access for product-safety regulators (TGA / FDA / EU EFSA / NMI); customer-audit-grade evidence packs (automotive OEM tier-up supplier audits, FMCG customer audits, retailer-mandated Scope-3 audits); insurer-grade telemetry for product-liability + business-interruption + recall-cost coverage.

What we sell — and what we don’t

What we don’t sell at any price: full transaction-front-end replacement. We don’t build your MES, your SCADA HMI, your batch-record system, your historian-viewer, your supplier-portal, your shop-floor terminal, your maintenance-management app. Your operational screens stay put — they’re decades of plant-engineering investment. If you need a new screen, your engineering team builds it against our published SDK with our reference connectors.

What we do sell falls into two groups:

A. Operator utilities (bundled — Items 2 + 4 in the pricing table)

  • Evidence-retrieval portal — your quality + compliance team pulls cryptographic proofs in response to customer-auditor, regulator, insurer, or recall-investigator questions. Generates evidence packs in formats acceptable to your major customer’s tier-up audit programme, regulator inspections, product-liability claim responses, and Scope-3 verification under CSRD / SBTi.
  • Compliance-officer dashboard — live view of ISO 9001 deviation closure status, ISO 14001 environmental-incident tracking, calibration-due aging, ISO 17025 traceability, customer-mandated quality-metric trends, Scope-3 emissions data freshness.
  • Trust-management UI — operator-side controls for your enterprise PKI: certificate issuance for plant managers / quality engineers / calibration-lab operators / customer audit reps, revocation, partner-org onboarding (tier-2/3 suppliers, calibration labs, certifying bodies), kill-switch.

B. Multi-tier supplier-network attestation UI (optional — Item 5 in the pricing table)

Thin signature surface for external counterparties — tier-2/3 suppliers, contract manufacturers, calibration labs, certifying bodies, customer-side quality engineers (when the customer wants to co-sign incoming-quality data), insurer surveyors, recall coordinators. This is explicitly in scope for us to develop, distinct from the “no MES replacement” line above.

What it does:
– DID / certificate-based authentication
– Per-tenant queue of pending attestations (FAI / PPAP signoffs, ISO 17025 calibration-cert acknowledgements, Scope-3 emissions signoffs, recall-batch-receipt confirmations, EaaS runtime acknowledgements, milestone-payment co-signs)
– Sign + submit with cryptographic proof landing in the BFT mesh
– Multi-tenant via entnum — each supplier sees only their own queue

What it explicitly is NOT:
– A supplier-catalog / sourcing / RFQ / contract-management replacement
– A supplier CRM
– A MES / batch-record system

When you’d buy this: multi-tier supply networks where your existing supplier portal can’t carry M-of-N co-signature; food + beverage with informal grower cooperatives; consumer-products with extensive tier-3 supply tails subject to Scope-3 + Modern Slavery requirements.

Pilot terms — non-binding, parallel-run, zero operational risk

  • 3 months running Tx-Rails alongside your existing systems. No production switchover.
  • Mode A (hash-only) integration with one chosen federation (typically tx-rails-manufacturing-quality, tx-rails-manufacturing-calibration, or tx-rails-manufacturing-scope3-emissions) for the pilot.
  • Walk-away clause: if at month 3 the metrics don’t meet agreed targets, the engagement ends.
  • Customer-of-record pre-validation: before signing, we’ll meet with your principal customer’s supplier-audit team to confirm evidence-pack acceptability for their tier-up audit programme.
  • Data ownership: cryptographic exports are open-format, re-readable indefinitely.

Why now

  • EU CSRD + ESRS Scope-3 reporting — first reporting cycle 2025, customer-mandated Scope-3 data flows up multi-tier supply networks; cryptographic provenance becomes a differentiator.
  • Customer-tier-up audit intensification — automotive (IATF 16949), FMCG (GFSI / SQF), electronics (RBA) audit programs deepening; cryptographic evidence reduces audit-cycle cost.
  • Product-liability + recall insurance market hardening — telemetry-backed evidence increasingly demanded by underwriters; lower premiums for verifiable evidence chains.
  • Modern Slavery + Forced Labor regulations — Modern Slavery Act 2018 (AU + UK), US UFLPA, EU CSDDD — auditable tier-2/3 supplier evidence becomes mandatory.
  • Industry 4.0 + IIoT investment — manufacturers already capturing the underlying data; Tx-Rails adds the audit-trail layer to existing investment, not a parallel data collection.
