GoldBFT is our fork of CometBFT,
originating as Tendermint Core
CometBFT is an implementation of a Byzantine Fault Tolerant Network (BFT) of Nodes (in our case 4, 4, 7, 10 and 13), which is usually employed as a Blockchain with no “mining”. The correct term for this is Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). ITOTCCA is employing GoldBFT to provide Fault Tolerant Services to databases.
The Database Network is supervised by ChubbyChecker. Full details of the nature and operation of ChubbyChecker can be found here. The value to an Enterprise of this technology lies in the volume of Data that can be stored, with maximum Security, so that your pants will stay firmly up.

GoldBFT is at the core of our Middleware Technology, being employed in networks of Enterprises, in Federations of these Enterprises and at the top level Aggregators of Metadata, which are generated by the original Enterprise Network Transactions. This is Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT)

The GO language’s “libp2p-dht-kad”, provides an implementation of the Kademlia Distributed Hash Table Network (DHT), that forms the highly secure connecting “Rails” between Edge Clients (in the field) and the Centro-Distributed Servers in the Cloud. We are thus able to eliminate reliance on the Risk-Prone Domain Name System (DNS), avoiding many Hacking problems.
-
Kubernetes is used to provide Crash Fault Tolerant (CFT) Database and Middleware Servers at Enterprise, Federation and Aggregator levels, complementing the BFT Networks. Kubernetes relies on the “Raft” algorithm of Diego Ongaro and John Ousterhout (Leader and Followers in a cluster of Databases).

Finally, the second-employed Distributed Ledger Technology (aside from GoldBFT) is the Hedera/Hiero DLT System, providing an immutable externally-based substrate upon which we record our Merkle Root Metadata State Signatures. Merkle Roots are formed by recurrent cryptographic hashing of data in “tree” structures. In our case, the structures are the Metadata (Transaction Trace) Blocks. We are thus recording unique Block Signatures.
