The 9 Ledgers Within the Master Ledger

provides a basic set of Top-Level Ledgers to form the Master Ledger,

to which financial details are posted from the Financial Transaction Journal.
They are:
  • Assets
  • Liabilities
  • Equity (for Profit)    |    Net Assets (Not for Profit)
  • Income
  • Returns In
  • Expense
  • Returns Out
  • Other Income
  • Other Expense
    • As our customer, you define your own Transaction Journal data fields, in consultation with us. You also specify your Chart of Accounts (in patterns of “trees” branching from the top level “roots”), linking Revenue Accounts to your existing Bank Services, and enjoying automated Bookkeeping with the flexibility of an extensible 6-level Accounts Chart (unlimited Accounts per Level) beneath the 9 top-level Ledgers. The Accounting System also incorporates an extensible 3 tier system of Account Classes (unlimited Classes per Tier) across the Chart, enabling genuine Cost Centre & Group Accounting and Reporting. ‘Extensible’ means you can have more than 6 Account levels and more than 3 Class Tiers.
